THE FACTS

West Midland Regional League

Tividale FC v Haughmond FC

Saturday 19th January 2019

Kick off at 3.00pm

If the BBC did the West Midland Premier League. This game would be the first game on Match of The Day. Its first versus third “It’s at The Beeches and it’s live”. Just what else is there to know?

Tividale will be looking to kick on from their win at Hereford Lads Club last weekend. While Haughmond will be looking to extend the form that have kept them up with the leaders and a recent run in which they have won six of their last seven league and cup games and only conceded one goal in those games.

Manager Dave King has gone on record that “Haughmond are the best team Tividale have played this season” and their current form goes a long way to confirming that.

THE HISTORY

This is the reverse fixture as the team met in September in what turned out to be a real thriller. Tividale winning the game 3-2. A game that will be remembered for the monsoon that lasted the whole of the second half. Tividale’s goals came from Dan Smith 2 and Demetri Brown. Haughmond’s reply came from Adam Davies and their top scorer with 25 league goals Steve Hole
