JAYNE Gallagher, a long standing member of Tividale Football & Social Club, has started treatment for cancer and has been informed by a specialist that she will lose her hair in due course.

As we revealed on tividalefc.com last month, family friend, Lucy Taylor, stated that she wished to have a sponsored hair cut to raise as much money as possible throughout Tividale.

Lucy had the hair cut at Coco Browns, Regent Road, on Saturday, February 28th and will be donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust.

This is a charity who provide real hair wigs free of charge to boys and girls across the UK who lose their own hair as a result of cancer treatment.

As the organisation will only accept a minimum of seven inches of hair, you can imagine how much hair Lucy has had cut off.

Tividale Football & Social Club would like to thank everyone who made a kind donation to Lucy, it’s very much appreciated.

Well done, Lucy!
