TIVIDALE have today completed the signing of Jamie King from AFC Wulfrunians.
The 19 year old didn’t feature for AFC Wulfrunians in their JW Hunt Cup defeat to Trysull last night before putting pen to paper with ‘Dale in time to be in contention for this weekend’s Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South game with Goole AFC at The Beeches (KO 15:00).
King has impressed throughout this season, scoring 17 goals so far this campaign from the left-wing position and Tivi boss Ian Long is delighted to have secured his signature.
“I’m delighted to welcome Jamie to the club.
“Jamie is a very good wide player who predominantly plays on the left.
“His goalscoring ratio for a winger is very, very good and hopefully he will be able to bring that to Tividale.
“Jamie’s delivery from wide areas has caused opponents problems all season long in his respective league and we’ve missed a little bit of quality in recent weeks from that perspective.
“His arrival will also bring more balance to our squad.”
