IAN Long has warned his Tividale players not to show complacency when they travel to Lincolnshire to face bottom of the table Brigg Town tomorrow afternoon in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, Division One South (KO 15:00).

Managerless Brigg have only taken 11 points from 34 League games so far this season, conceding 128 goals in the process but Long insists that Tivi should not expect an easy ride when they travel to The Hawthorns.

He said “We are looking forward to the game. League positions count for nothing on the day if you’re not prepared properly and focused.

“We will be treating Brigg with the same level of respect as any other team in this Division because every team has good players who can perform and pick up points.

“After two disappointing performances at Goole and against Rainworth last weekend, we managed to pick up three very good points in the return fixture with Goole on Tuesday evening and we will be targeting the same return from tomorrow.”
