“Tividale Football Club would like to clarify our current position regarding Ground Grading (Grade D Specification) following speculation on social media and unofficial websites over the course of the past 24 hours.

“Following well documented recent ground improvement work carried out at The Beeches to meet the aforementioned Grade D specification criteria, Tividale Football Club has yet to be informed the result of our inspection by either the Northern Premier League or the Football Association, and any speculation to the contrary is categorically without foundation.

“Manager, Ian Long, the coaching staff and our players have performed to an extremely high standard throughout our first competitive season in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League, Division One South, and we hope to continue our recent run of form in the final eight games to finish as high in the table as possible.

“As a result of that target, Tividale Football Club’s attention is firmly on our Easter Bank Holiday weekend programme, with two very important home games at The Beeches against Lincoln United and Sutton Coldfield Town respectively.

“Tividale Football Club will be making no further comment regarding this matter until the official conclusion of our Ground Grading inspection has been disclosed.”
