There will be a minute’s applause in memory of former Tividale FC manager Terry Jones who passed away this week before the match against Rocester FC.

Terry will always be remembered as one of the most successful and long serving manager’s in the history of Tividale FC. He was manager in the 70’s at the time of the book that is famous in these parts “Journey to Wembley”. The story of the 1976/1977 FACup competition.

He then returned for a second spell in the 90’s and was in charge when Tividale first had floodlights erected in 1992.

Terry will always be fondly remembered at Tividale and on behalf of us all at Tividale, we send our condolences and deepest sympathies to Terry’s family and friends.

RIP Terry
